All Set for Finals on Saturday

(1) Wolf Warriors vs Regal, (2) Floodlights vs Success Masters and (3) Mikes Wellwoman vs Trophy Stall Angels at the DCC ground on Saturday, starting at 2 pm.

The 3 finals of the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association-organised Trophy Stall male and female softball tournament will be played this Saturday, in day/night competition at the DCC Ground in Lance Gibbs Street, Queenstown.

The first final starts at 2 pm, when Floodlights takes on Success Masters in a 20/20 affair for the Masters division (40yrs and over). At 6 pm, the country's foremost female teams, Mikes Wellwoman and Trophy Stall Angels, will meet in a battle of the Divas, in a 10/10 affair.

Then at 7:15 pm, two of the country's most powerful softball teams, City team Regal ("Guyana Softball Cup 1 Runners up") will play Wolf Warriors of West Coast Demerara ("Guyana Softball Cup 111 Runners up").

There will be live commentary on the ground, musical entertainment, lots of beverages and food on sale. Admission is $200, and paid parking of $500 is available inside the ground on the eastern end.

Come and enjoy the six newly-installed light towers in operation. These high-quality lights are the result of an initiative by the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association and Minister Frank Anthony. Also the Chinese group traveling worldwide in RV, will make a visit during the games at the DCC ground.
