The East Coast based club, named after former Guyana and West Indies Captain Carl Hooper who is an Honorary Member, also extended congratulations to former Test Off-spinner Roger Harper for being returned as the Georgetown Cricket Association President. The club thanked Ms. Emily Dodson for her assistance in making its Academy a success and to East Coast Cricket Board Second Vice-President Jailall Samaroo for his sponsorship of the Academy.
