Action in the nationwide Stag Beer and El Dorado rum softball competition, organised by the Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association ( GFSCA), continued last Sunday with several players throwing in fantastic individual performances.

Leading the way was Yusuf Mohammed, who stroked an unbeaten 124 to lead Yusuf Veterans to victory over Regal Stationery Seniors. Regal Stationery Seniors’ Rudy Rodrigues made 125, but his team fell short by eight runs in a highscoring affair. West Indies female utility player Shemaine Campbell was also among the runs. Her superb 92 led Rose Hall Females to an 84-run win over Letter Kenny New Warriors.
