Trophy Stall Finalists Decided

It is Floodlights versus Success Masters and Wellwoman versus Trophy Stall Angels. Regal and Wolf Warriors are already through, and the Trophy Stall softball finalists are now decided.

Results of semi-final matches in the Master category (40 years and Over) played last Saturday evening at DCC ground:

Success Masters crushed Industry Super Kings: Success made 188 for 7 off 20 overs. Sahadeo Budhu 68, Kishore Mohabir 41. Bowling for Industry, P. Singh took 3 for 36. Industry Super Kings were bowled out for 89, with Danny Gangadin making 26. Success main destroyers were K. Mohabir, 3 for 9, and Mohan 3 for 12.

Floodlights vs Park Rangers: Park Rangers posted a challenging 190 for 5 off 20 overs. Eon Abel made a blistering 66, Shawn Massiah supported with 60. Clyde Canterberry took 2 for 41, bowling for Floodlights. Floodlights did excellent to overhaul the total, losing only 3 wickets with 3 balls to spare. John Sumair made a stroke filled undefeated 58 (8x6), supported by Lalta Gainda 44 and a well calculated undefeated 44 by Wayne Jones.

In the Female semi-finals, Wellwoman defeated Karibee Girls by 34 runs. Wellwoman batting first, made 114 for 7 off 10 overs. Haseena Mohamed 40, Latoya Smith and Amanda Bobsemple supported with 17 each. Karibee Girls were restricted to 80 for 4 off 10 overs. Erva Giddings made 33, Tenesia Leonard 24.

In the second semi-final, Trophy Stall Angels defeated 4R Lioness by 33 runs. Trophy Stall made 115 for 4 off 10 overs. June Ogle made 33, Roxanne Dominick 28 and Kavita Yadram 20. 4R Lioness was restricted to 82 for 7 off 10 overs. Shian Goodluck was the top scorer with 11 runs.

Earlier in a preliminary round, 4R Lioness defeated Regal Champs by 30 runs. 4R Lioness made 109 for 5 off 10 overs. Timika Wilson top scored with 44, while national player supported with 35. Regal Champs replied with 96 for 8 off 10 overs.

The 3 finals are set for Saturday April 26, starting at 2 pm at the DCC Ground.
