Judging from the build-up at the Limacol Caribbean Premier League office on Middle Street on Friday, the Guyana National Stadium would no doubt be painted with the colours of the Guyana Amazon Warriors franchise, as Guyanese have been flocking the venue to get hold of their merchandise.

When Guyana Times paid a visit to the upper flat of the Middle Street office, patrons were busy acquiring their Guyana Amazon Warriors merchandise. According to information reaching this newscast, the items have been going at a fast rate and fans are encouraged to have their collectables early and avoid the last minute rush.

Items on sale at very affordable prizes are replica Guyana Amazon Warriors jerseys, as well as branded caps, ladies and gents shirts, limited edition coins, illuminated flags, drinking glasses, pins, back packs, whistles, balls and bats. The office is opened from 08:00h to 18:00h daily.

During 2013, the Guyana Amazon Warriors merchandise were a huge hit with the fans as the Guyana National Stadium was transformed into a sea of green and yellow. Much of the same is anticipated during the three matches here next week, as fans have been taking full advantage of the opportunities being afforded to them to get their merchandise.

Last Friday, the Guyana Amazon Warriors officials and three players - Martin Guptill, Leon Johnson and Tagenarine Chanderpaul - were at Courts Main Street branch, offering Guyanese merchandise at a reduced cost.

Like last year, the Guyana Amazon Warriors would no doubt look forward to sold-out crowds at the National Stadium, as they attempt to go one step further and win the title after faltering at the final hurdle against the Jamaica Tallawahs in 2013.

During the three days here, Guyana Amazon Warriors will take on Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel at 19:30 hours on July 17, the St Lucia Zouks at 16:00 hours on July 19 and defending champions Jamaica Tallawahs at 16:00 hours on July 20.
