North Georgetown Secondary School

North Georgetown Secondary School is one of the high schools built after Guyana became independent in 1966. A well-known cricketer that attended North Georgetown Secondary School was Nizam Hafeez, who perished in the 911 attack on the World Trade Center in New York, in September 2001.

2001 Activities

NGSS participated in the 2001 Guyana Cricket Board national Under-19 competition. The school lost its match against Queen's College by 2 runs.
