St Cuthbert's Mission, or Pakuri, is an indigenous Arawak community with a population of 1600, about 30 miles up the Mahaica Creek. (See Wikipedia article here.) In 2011 Guyana Test cricketer Ramnaresh Sarwan donated sporting equipment to the community, to assist in the development of sports there. In 2013 the club chairman was Ridley Ferriera.
