Collie Solomon made his first class debut for Berbice against Demerara in the Jones Cup,  in 1983.  He was an accurate and containing pace bowler who pressured batsmen into making mistakes.

He also represented Ashington Cricket Club in the Priory Northumberland County League First Division from 1988 to 1992.
