Kevin Darlington made a rather inauspicious national debut in 1990 for Young Guyana Cricketers against the Young Australian Cricketers, in a match played a Blairmont, in Berbice. He also made an inauspicious first class debut in 1995 for Guyana against Barbados, in Barbados. In 1999 that he took his first 5-wicket haul, when he took 5 for 29 against Barbados in Bridgetown, a match that Guyana lost by 16 runs.
In 2001 he took 5 for 53 in an innings and 9 for 92 in the match in Guyana's innings victory over West Indies B in Trinidad. He followed this with 6 for 25 against Trinidad & Tobago at Enmore in Guyana, a match that Guyana won by 7 wickets. After that he faded away from the first class scene, though he continued serving Berbice county well for at least another year.
Kevin currently lives and works in the USA, which he represented in Twenty20 cricket in 2010. He also represented Haslingden Cricket Club in 1995 in the Lancashire League and the USA in Twenty20 cricket in 2010.
