Madan Gopaul

Madan Gopaul was a reliable opening batsman for Berbice and the Guyana East Indians in the Kawall Cup for many years in the 1940's and 1950's.

In the 1956 Kawall Cup final, in early November between Guyana Indians and Trinidad Indians at Bourda, Madan Gopal scored a patient 111 not out to help the Guyana Indians to reach 343 for 2 by the close of the first day's play.

Albion Lights Installed
