Upper Corentyne Cricket Association

The Upper Corentyne Cricket Association (UCCA) is responsible for developing cricket in east Corentyne, in the Skeldon area.

The Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club donated a large trophy, stationery, caps, tee shirts, score books and large envelopes to UCCA on 16 January 2013.

South Essequibo Cricket Committee

The South Essequibo Cricket Committee is a geographical division of the Essequibo Cricket Board, with responsibility for cricket in the Suddie/Onderneeming area of the Essequibo Coast.

 

2007 Activities

The South Essequibo Under-15 team lost to Albion by 5 wickets in the Republic Bank National Under-15 competition, in a match at Blairmont.

 

Wakenaam Cricket Committee

The Wakenaam Cricket Committee (WCC) is responsible for cricket on Wakenaam, an island of area 22 square miles at the mouth of the Essequibo River, with a population of about 10000. Wakenaam is accessible by both river and air. Two Test cricketers from Wakenaam are Ramnaresh Sarwan and Travis Dowlin.

North Essequibo Cricket Committee

The North Essequibo Cricket Committee (NECC) is responsible for cricket from Charity to just north of Anna Regina, with a population of about 10000.

East Bank Essequibo Cricket Committee

The East Bank Essequibo Cricket Committee is an area association under the Essequibo Cricket Board with responsibility for cricket from Boeraserie Creek on the Demerara county border to south of Parika on the east bank of Essequibo River.

Bartica Cricket Committee

The Bartica Cricket Committee (BCC) is an area association under the Essequibo Cricket Board with responsibility for cricket in the Bartica area, about 35 miles up the Essequibo river. The Bartica area is accessible by boat, road bridged by a ferry crossing or air.

Central Essequibo Cricket Committee

The Central Essequibo Cricket Committee (CECC) is responsible for cricket in the Anna Regina area, with a population of about 19000. CECC held its 2011 Annual General Meeting on 18 February at Sparta.

Leguan Cricket Committee

The Leguan Cricket Committee is responsible for cricket on Leguan, an island of area 18 square miles at the mouth of the Essequibo River, with a population of about 4200.

Essequibo Cricket Board

The administration of cricket in the county of Essequibo falls under the Essequibo Cricket Board (ECB) and its 8 regional Cricket Committees: the Bartica Cricket Committees: the Bartica Cricket Committee (BCC), Central Essequibo Cricket Committee (CECC), East Bank Essequibo Cricket Committee (EBECC), Leguan Cricket Committee (LCC) North Essequibo Cricket Committee (NECC), Pomeroon Cricket Committee (PCC), South Essequibo Cricket Committee (SECC) and the Wakenaam Cricket Committee (WCC).

East Coast Cricket Board

The East Coast Cricket Board (ECCB) is responsible for second division cricket on the east coast of Demerara (from Turkeyen to Abary?). It is affiliated to the Demerara Cricket Board. Clubs under the ECCB include: Buxton, GAS XI, LBI, Lusignan and Rockaway.
