Hosts Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) defeated GNIC by four wickets on Saturday to be crowned champions of the Georgetown Cricket Association Brain Street Cup Under-15 cricket competition at the DCC ground, Queenstown.
Regal Stationery and Computer Centre director Mahendra Hardyal, along with Seewchan, Samuel Kingston and Ian John recently formed the Georgetown Softball Cricket League Incorporated to organise several softball competitions for teams within Georgetown and its outlying areas.
