Vibert Johashen

Berbice and Guyana fast-medium swing bowler Vibert Johashen made his first class for Berbice in 1973, first class debut for Guyana in 1977 and List A debut for Guyana in 1978.

Johashen opened the bowling for Berbice at different times with Keith Cameron and Leslaine Lambert.  He was also a capable lower order batsman who supported the established batsmen on occasions.

Jermaine Neblett

Jermaine was a fast-medium bowler who represented the Guyana in a single Under-19 match, against Jamaica in Barbados in 1994, and a single first class match, against the Windwards in Greanada in 1997.

Eion Katchay

Eion Katchay made his debut as a pace bowler for the Guyana Under-19 team in the 1996 Regional Nortel Youth Tournament, in Jamaica. He represented Guyana again in the 1997 Regional Nortel Youth Tournament, in Guyana, taking 6 for 22 and 6 for 55 against the Leewards, at Everest in his final youth match for Guyana.

Kemo Paul

Kemo Paul, a fast bowling all-rounder, started playing cricket seriously at the age of 11, after his family moved from Saxakali, in the Essequibo River, to the island of Wakenaam at the mouth of the same river. He became a member of the Noitgedacht Sports Club in Wakenaam, and Demerara Cricket Club (in Georgetown) later. He was invited to Essequibo County Under-15 trials after his cricketing abilities were noted while representing the Essequibo Islands Secondary School.

Carlyle Miller

Carlyle Miller was a fast bowler with a very smooth bowling action. His rather modest first class career for Guyana was cut short at an early age when he migrated to the USA. He later represented his adopted country for several years, as an all-rounder.

Romario Shepherd

Romario Shepherd, a tall fast bowler, plays for New Amsterdam/Canje in the Berbice Under-19 Inter-Zone competition, and Bermine in Berbice division cricket.

He represented the Guyana Under-17 team in the inaugural regional Under-17 tournament, in Tobago in 2012. Shepherd also represented the Guyana Under-19 team in 2012, with considerable success. He took 4 for 17 against the Leewards in the one-day segment of the Under-19 regional tournament.

Clinton Pestano

Clinton Pestano made his debut for the Guyana Under-19 team as a bowling all-rounder in the 2011 TCL Group West Indies Under-19 Regional competition, in Guyana. His all-round ability as a utility player was immediately apparent, with useful performances as an opening bowler and lower order batsman..

In 2013 he represented Berbice in the hastily arranged senior inter-county 1-day and 4-day competitions. He played a brilliant innings of 82 to save Berbice from a rare defeat by Essequibo in the 1-day competition.

Roderick Lovell

Pace bowler Roderick Lovell made his List A debut for the senior Guyana team in the 1995 Shell/Sandals Trophy regional 50-overs competition, taking 2 wickets in 3 matches. He made his first class debut for Guyana in the 1998 regional first class competition, with moderate success. He fared much better when representing Demerara in the inter-county competition from 1999 to 2001.

Sydney Matthews

Syd Matthews was a promising schoolboy fast bowler, swinging the ball both ways, when he made his debut for the Guyana youth team in 1969, in Trinidad & Tobago. He took 4 for 47 in his very first innings and 5 for 69 in another innings two matches later.
